This statement sets out the services Safeside Supported Living Services is registered and equipped to deliver, so commissioners, social workers, discharge teams and families can see our scope at a glance and verify it against the public record. Where something is outside our scope, we say so plainly.
1. Registration and governance
- Provider: Safeside Supported Living Services
- Registered office: Jubilee House, 3 The Drive, Great Warley, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 3FR
- Regulator: Care Quality Commission, location ID 1-22153100025, registered since 29 April 2025. View our CQC profile
- Regulated activity: personal care, delivered through homecare and supported living services
- Data protection: registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration ZB036287
- Health and safety: SSIP registered member
- Leadership: a CQC approved Registered Manager and Nominated Individual, accountable for quality and safeguarding
As a provider registered in 2025 we do not yet hold a published CQC rating. We publish our registration openly and will publish our first inspection outcome when we have one.
2. Who we support
Consistent with our CQC registration, we support:
- Older adults, including people living with dementia
- Adults aged 18 to 65
- Children and young people aged 0 to 18, in their own home and through outreach support
- People living with mental health conditions
- People with physical disabilities
- People with sensory impairments
Our registration restricts personal care where the presenting need arises directly from a learning disability or autism, and we do not accept referrals outside our registered scope. We are a care provider, not a nursing service: where a person has clinical needs we work alongside the professionals responsible for them.
3. Services we deliver
- Domiciliary Care: Flexible visits at home to help with daily routines, mobility, meals and companionship, from a short daily call to several visits a day.
- Personal Care: Respectful, unhurried support with washing, dressing, continence care, mobility and morning or bedtime routines, always with privacy and dignity at the centre.
- Dementia Care: Calm, familiar support for people living with dementia, built around routines that feel safe and communication that never rushes.
- Elderly Care: Practical, warm help for older people who want to stay in their own home, with the reassurance families need.
- Supported Living: Personalised support for people who want greater independence, choice and connection in everyday life.
- Children's Home Care: Care for children and young people aged 0 to 18 in their own home, with outreach support for families.
- Reablement & Hospital Discharge: Short term support after a hospital stay, illness or fall, helping someone regain skills and confidence at home.
- Companion Care: Regular friendly visits for conversation, outings and hobbies, because company matters as much as practical help.
- Live-in Care: A trained carer living in the home, so support is there through the day and overnight without moving anywhere.
Medication support is provided by prompting and assisting where this has been assessed and authorised within the care plan, with clear records kept of every visit.
4. Where we work
We are based at Jubilee House in Great Warley, Brentwood, and support people across Brentwood, Barking, Dagenham, Ilford, Romford and the surrounding parts of Essex and East London. Coverage for a specific package depends on the visit times required and the carers we have nearby, and we confirm honestly before accepting any referral. See areas we cover.
5. Workforce and safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS checks for every member of staff, including checks for working with children where relevant
- References and right to work verified in person before any placement
- Structured induction covering safeguarding adults and children, moving and handling, infection control, medication, dignity and person-centred practice
- Ongoing refresher training, supervision and spot checks
- Whistleblowing and complaints procedures, with concerns investigated and outcomes recorded
6. How to commission or refer
We accept referrals from local authorities, integrated care boards, social workers, care coordinators and hospital discharge teams, alongside private arrangements made directly by families.
Every referral starts with an assessment. We meet the person, review the information provided and confirm honestly whether we can meet the need within our registered scope and staff it properly. We do not accept placements we cannot deliver safely.
To discuss a referral, call 020 3989 7290, email info@safesideservices.co.uk, or use the enquiry form.
